First Reproduction Consultation

We know that making the decision to seek help to conceive can generate a whirlwind of emotions: hope, doubts, illusion and perhaps some uncertainty. At Masfiv we understand this moment perfectly. Therefore, we have designed the first consultation as a safe, confidential and close space where you can solve all your questions and feel accompanied from the beginning.

This first visit is much more than a medical appointment; it is the starting point to understand your particular situation and to explore together the options that today’s reproductive medicine can offer you.

Primera Consulta de Reproducción

What does this First Consultation consist of?

Our main objective in this first consultation is to get to know each other and perform a complete initial assessment. For approximately 60 minutes, we will do the following:

  • Detailed conversation: You will meet one of our assisted reproduction specialists. We will talk calmly about your history (or your history, if you come alone), your desires, relevant medical history (gynecological, andrological, previous illnesses, lifestyle), time of pregnancy search and any previous treatment.
  • Initial evaluation: We will review any tests or reports you bring with you. Depending on your case, we may perform a gynecological ultrasound in the same office for an initial assessment, as well as a blood test to quantify the anti-mullerian hormone. We will also explain what diagnostic tests might be necessary (such as hormonal blood tests, seminogram, etc.) to get a complete picture.
  • Doubts resolution: This is your moment. You will be able to ask everything you need to know about fertility, possible causes of difficulty conceiving and the different assisted reproduction treatments available at Masfiv.
  • First steps: Although the definitive treatment plan is established once we have all the results, during this visit we will already be able to guide you on the possible paths to follow and the next steps in the process.

Who is this Consultation for?

The first reproductive consultation is designed for:

  • Couples who have been trying to conceive for some time without success (generally more than 12 months if the woman is younger than 35, or more than 6 months if she is older than 35).

  • Women who wish to face motherhood alone.

  • Couples of women who want to start a family.

  • People (men or women) with doubts about their fertility or with a medical history that may affect it.

  • Those who wish to inquire about fertility preservation (egg vitrification or sperm freezing) for medical or social reasons.

  • Any individual or couple simply seeking expert information and guidance on reproductive health and treatment options.

Our team will explain to you with full transparency the fees and the different payment methods available.

Subsequently, once the indicated diagnostic tests have been performed, we will have a complete picture of your reproductive situation. We will contact you to schedule a second appointment where we will analyze the results, establish an accurate diagnosis (if applicable) and propose the most appropriate personalized treatment plan for you.
